RAIPUR: Excitement and happiness, and a bit of nervousness, was quite visible on the faces of 117 meritorious students, including 77 girls, of Class X and XII board examinations-2022 when they were taken for a joy ride on a chopper as a recognition for their performance in studies.
Chief minister Bhupesh Baghel had promised chopper ride as a gift to the students of Chhattisgarh Board of Secondary Education (CGBSE) securing positions in merit lists on the results day on May 14. Many of the students saw a chopper for the first time. TOI speaks to a few students after their joy ride.
