RAIPUR: Master blaster Sachin Tendulkar presented 'gifts of life' to five children from Mizoram, Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh, whose heart surgery was performed successfully, at Sri Sathya Sai Sanjeevani Sowbhagyam and Hospital.
It is the tradition of the hospital to present ‘gifts of life’ after the successful heart surgery of children.
The Father of Vaishnavi and mother of Derek, who received the gift from Tendulkar, became emotional while sharing their experiences.
Tendulkar also played cricket with the child patients. He mingled with them and encouraged them by batting and bowling. Sachin said that he could not visit Raipur Centre last year due to Covid protocols. He further said that coming to Sathya Sai Sanjeevani is a totally different kind of experience which is very hard to express. In Sanjeevani, patients are getting a new lease of life every day. These actions speak louder than words.
He also paid obeisance to his Guru Bhagwan Sri Sathya Sai Sowbhagyam during his first visit to Sri Sathya Sai Sanjeevani Sowbhagyam and Hospital.
