Chhattisgarh jump ropers represent India in Thailand championship

RAIPUR: Three jump ropers from Chhattisgarh are representing India at the Queen's Cup Jump Rope Championship 2022 in Thailand. The jump ropers from Chhattisgarh, including Gopash Chandwani, Himanshu Kashyap and Ayush Soni, are part of the 75-member Indian contingent participating in the championship.

The jump ropers have been selected in the Indian team on the basis of their performance in the senior national championship where they have won gold medals.

The Chhattisgarh trio has been consistently doing well in the national championship for the last eight years. Gopash has won 20 gold medals, eight silver and seven bronze medals for the state so far in the national competition. Himanshu has won 14 gold, six silver, and seven bronze medals while Ayush has won 14 gold, six silver, and seven bronze medals.
