Chhattisgarh: His father allegedly beaten up by cop, man jumps before moving train; dies

BILASPUR: A 23-year-old man killed himself by jumping in front of a moving train in Chhattisgarh's Bilaspur district, police said on Wednesday. Sources said the man took the extreme step after he spotted a constable beating his father at a police station in the Bilaspur district.

Harish Chandra Gendle committed suicide on Monday by jumping in front of a moving train near Belha railway station, said a police officer.
