RAIPUR: Chhattisgarh High Court has provided relief to a person, convicted by the Dantewada session court for the murder of his wife, by altering the charges to culpable homicide not amounting to murder and also ordered his release as he had already served ten years in prison.
A division bench comprising Justice Sanjay K Agrawal and Justice Sachin Singh Rajput converted the sentence of Atram Shanti, 43 under IPC 302 to IPC 304 Part II.
