RAIPUR: The Chhattisgarh high court on Thursday allowed interim applications moved by Raipur and Bilaspur smart cities and allowed the issue of work orders to the tune of Rs 700 crores for the development of both the cities.
Disposing of interim applications filed by Bilaspur Smart City Limited and Raipur Smart City Limited, the division bench of Justice Goutam Bhaduri and Justice Sanjay K Agrawal said this court did not grant any stay for implementation of the issuance of work order for the earlier projects on the ground that it was filed at the belated state when almost the smart city mission itself is coming to an end.
