RAIPUR: The state government on Friday rolled out the policy for transfer of officers, class three and class four employees, teachers and other staff of the school education department.
The transfer process will be completed by September 30.
As per the notification, all transfers at the district-level will be completed by September 10 and the process of transfers at the state-level will end by September 30, after which no transfer will be done.
All district-level transfer of class three and class four employees can be done bydistrict collectors with the approval of the minister-in charge.
Similarly, state-level transfer will be proposed by departments and necessary orders will be issued after the approval of minister concerned.
The policy also lays down detailed guidelines to be followed for transfer of government officers and employees.
While transferring teachers, teacher-student ratio will be maintained. Teacher-student radio will not be more than 40 or less than 20.
Besides, it will be ensured that no school will be left without teachers or single teacher. The previous transfer policy was notified in 2019.
