Notts County's eagerly anticipated National League fixture with Chesterfield has been called off following two pitch inspections at the Technique Stadium.
There was an initial pitch inspection at midday to see whether the Magpies' clash with Paul Cook's side would go ahead, with a further inspection of the playing surface delayed until 1:30pm with one area of the pitch causing concern.
But shortly after the pitch inspection was conducted, it was announced that the fixture had been postponed and would be rescheduled for Saturday 11 February, subject to National League approval.

Luke Williams' side were due to play Eastleigh at Meadow Lane that day but were forced to reschedule the fixture following Lee Bradbury's sides progression to the next round of the FA Trophy.
The next match for Notts seem them travel to Solihull Moors this Tuesday.
