Cheryl is reportedly set to air her dirty laundry in an explosive tell-all interview that will include Simon Cowell ’s weight jibes, heartbreak over her failed marriage to Ashley Cole and her doomed romance with Liam Payne.
The former Girls Aloud star is said to be contemplating sharing details of her whirlwind life in a documentary, which could lead to a bidding war between TV networks vying to land Cheryl’s life story.
“She doesn’t want to hold back because she has quite a few things she thinks the world needs to hear - not to mention a fair bit of payback, too,” a source told Heat magazine.
The insider said Cheryl has “some scores to settle, bones to pick and dirty laundry to air”, and that could include taking aim at her former mentor Simon Cowell.
Back in 2011, Cheryl was invited to be a judge on The X Factor US, but was cruelly fired just weeks into the job, and at the time, it was alleged she was sacked because of her Geordie accent.
However, the music and TV mogul later claimed the pop star had “put on a bit of weight” while filming in the US, and Cheryl won't’ hesitate in calling Simon out for his unfair comments during her tell-all interview.
“He’s a legitimate target, as is Louis Walsh (her old Girls Aloud manager), as well as other big names in the music industry,” the insider stated.
And it was the death of her former bandmate Sarah Harding which allegedly prompted Cheryl to have more control of her career - and her life.
Cheryl will also share details of her love life, including her failed marriage to former footballer Ashley Cole, her relationship with Jean-Bernard Fernandez-Versini, and her short lived romance with Liam Payne, which she claims has been “misreported” and wants to set the record straight.
The couple began dating in 2016, and welcomed son Bear in March 2017, but the couple parted ways just over a year later.
Also in the firing line is Victoria Beckham, as Cheryl is reportedly toying with the idea of speaking out against the former Spice Girl after she was snubbed following Ashley’s infidelity.
The star felt “let down” after the fashion designer didn’t make contact with her after news of the footballer’s flings hit the headlines, and Cheryl is “not sure she wants to bring all that up again”.
