Cheryl is reportedly "disappointed" in Liam Payne after he spoke out about their relationship.
The 29-year-old revealed intimate details about about their split as well as the mum-of-one's labour.
Speaking to YouTuber Logan Paul, Liam claimed son Bear, five, 'ruined' his relationship with the 38-year-old.
The One Direction star was just 23 when he became a dad and told Logan: "To be honest with you, it ruined a relationship at that point – but for all the right reasons.
"We broke up for a reason and now she gives me full autonomy over my life and I know he [Bear] is taken care of".
However Liam also went into detail about the Girls Aloud star's labour with their son, alleging she had "haemorrhaged".
Cheryl previously described the birth as "difficult", but her ex said: "It was me and a baby in the room and I had to take care of it."
The Fight For This Love star is now said to be 'upset' at her private life being aired.
A source told Closer magazine: "She was quite shocked and disappointed about Liam's oversharing interview, giving away extremely personal info about her - knowing how private she likes to be.
"She's chatted some things through with him since, hoping to re-establish their privacy boundaries".
They also claimed the star's main priority was knowing Liam was ok and in the "right head space" to make decisions for Bear.
Liam hit the headlines recently after being papped all over American model Aliana Mawla, 24.
The singer was engaged to Texan model Maya Henry at the time, but it looks that's done and dusted for now.
Aliana played the singer's love interest in his 2018 music video Familiar.
Liam and Maya's relationship was on the rocks over the past year after the singer broke off their engagement last June, before reuniting just weeks later.
Before the reunion, it appeared the singer had expressed his regret over their break-up as he posted a few cryptic messages about love, regret and Maya onto his Instagram.
In one rambling Instagram story, he wrote: “Don't let someone go if you really want to love them even if you have to learn to love them through your own mistakes let your instinct tell you that you need them and keep them close we are always running out of time we never gain it."
However the couple have now reportedly called it quits as Liam spends more time with Aliana.
Cheryl is said have reminded her ex that his dating could be unsettling for their son.
The source said: "She's hoping Liam won't let her down and still stays true to his word - despite his new relationship."
