Cheryl turned 39 on Thursday and shared a rare post with her fans on Instagram to call it the "best one yet".
The former Girls Aloud star and X Factor judge has taken a step back from the limelight since given birthday to son Bear in 2017.
But the Geordie singer sporadically updates her 3.5 million Insta followers and did so to thank her fans for the birthday messages.
She shared a playful selfie of her pouting as she enjoyed a plate full of cake and strawberries alongside a cup of coffee.
She looked stunning in a pastel yellow sweater and white turtle neck combo while her makeup appeared flawless.
The Fight For This Love singer captioned the pic: "Thank you so much for all the lovely birthday wishes. I think I’ve had the best one yet.
"I have never been more in gratitude or contentment ! (Or ate so much cake ) sending so much love."
The last time she had posted on her feed was over a month ago when she shared a video of her working as an ambassador for a vitamin brand.
Among those in the comments section of her latest post Girls Aloud bandmate Nicola Roberts who shared a string of emoji faces with love heart eyes.
The Scouse singer also shared a birthday message to her pal on her own Instagram Stories.
She uploaded a still of the pair enjoying the stage together and captioned it: "Happy birthday bestie."
Fellow bandmate Kimberley Walsh also shared a pic of Cheryl from last year when she held Kimberley's newborn son.
She wrote: "One year ago today... Happy Birthday Chezzabelle we love you so much."
The band is getting ready to reunite for a charity 5k in memory of Sarah Harding who died of breast cancer last year.
Kimberley told The Mirror earlier this month how she is set to take part in the walk or run alongside Cheryl, Nicola and Nadine Coyle.
She said the Race For Life will be a nice way to bring everyone together and is the perfect way for fans to play a part in helping the charity Sarah was desperate to aid.
Mum-of-three Kimberley said the girls have also promised to organise more fundraisers in their pal's memory following her death and admits they have many ideas "bubbling" already.
