The beautiful cherry blossom has been spotted blooming in a city park.
Wavertree Botanic Gardens is a 19th century park that was originally constructed as a private botanic garden. It was taken over by Liverpool Corporation, now Liverpool City Council, in 1846 and turned into a public park.
The cherry blossom is at its most beautiful at this time of year - but it doesn't last for long. So to appreciate the scale of this beauty, you have to be quick to visit it yourself.
