Elijah Blue Allman, the son of Cher and the late musician Gregg Allman, is facing legal trouble after an incident at a prestigious prep school in New Hampshire.

The Concord Police Department told that Elijah was taken into custody on Friday, February 27 after officers responded to a report about an unwanted guest.

According to local outlet WMUR, police were called to St. Paul’s School in Concord around 6 p.m. local time following reports that an identified individual had caused a disturbance inside the dining hall. Authorities said the person was behaving in what they described as a hostile, combative, and aggressive way.

After arriving at the scene and conducting an investigation, officers identified the individual as Elijah. Police then apprehended him and charged him with two counts of simple assault, disorderly conduct, criminal threatening, and criminal trespassing.

The 49 year old musician was taken through the booking process at the Merrimack County Jail. He was later released on personal recognizance bail, which means he is required to appear at future court dates but was not required to pay bail.

Local reports say authorities are continuing to review the situation, especially since Elijah does not have any known connection to the school.

This latest incident comes months after another concerning episode. In June 2025, Elijah was taken to a hospital in California after he was described as “acting erratically.”

He remained under observation for several days before being released, according to the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department.
