CHENNAI: Vegetable prices in neighbourhood markets across the city have dropped as the volume of vegetables arriving at Koyambedu wholesale market has increased substantially.
Drumstick, which was marketed for 100 per kg at the wholesale market, is the only exception. The increase in the arrival is attributed to the high yield in neighbouring states as well as various parts of Tamil Nadu.
