Chennai: National Investigation Agency books five for funding Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam

CHENNAI: The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has booked five persons for using fake documents to withdraw money for furthering the activities of the banned Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam (LTTE).

One among them was Letchumanan Mary Franciska, a 50-year-old woman, who was arrested from Chennai Airport last year for holding a fake Indian passport.
