
A trainer due to have runners in action at the Cheltenham Festival is facing the prospect of a prison sentence after he was convicted of assaulting a dog walker.
A court heard that trainer Evan Williams, 54, repeatedly struck Martin Dandridge, 72, with a hockey stick, with the latter suffering injuries including a fractured arm in the assault.
