Chelsea and Wales star Sophie Ingle has been awarded an OBE in the New Year Honours list.
Honours related to the women's game dominated this year's list, with four Lionesses recognised, including Leah Williamson, Beth Mead, Ellen White and Lucy Bronze. The captains of both Wales and Scotland have also received honours.
Ingle, who has over 100 caps for Wales, has become an OBE, while Arsenal's Kim Little has been awarded an MBE.

The 31-year-old joined Chelsea from Liverpool in 2018 and her place on the New Year Honours list comes just days after she committed her future to the London club. The Blues announced on Thursday Ingle had signed a two-year extension, keeping her at Chelsea until at least the summer of 2025.
"I’m really delighted to sign for Chelsea again," Ingle told the club's official website earlier this week . "I feel like this club is home away from home.
"I’ve settled in from the very first moment that I signed about five years ago. I’m really delighted to continue this journey with this amazing club."
Wales were denied World Cup qualification back in October with a 2-1 defeat to Switzerland in Zurich. Despite taking an early lead in the match, a goal on the brink of half-time and a stoppage-time winner meant their wait to reach their first major tournament continued.
