Chelsea manager Sonia Bompastor said of Lola Brown’s debut: “It is a special week for her. She has been practising with us & I can see her talent, even if she is young. She is really dynamic, smart & good with the ball. She will progress. This will bring her a lot of joy and confidence.”
Lyon’s result mean they also progress to the last eight of the Champions League.
In the other 8pm GMT kick-off Lyon beat Roma 4-1 including two goals from Kadidiatou Diani.

The win is Chelsea’s 11th victory from 11 games this season. Chelsea didn’t seem like they could get better than they have been over the past few seasons but they have somehow found another gear.
Eve Perisset’s penalty was her first ever Chelsea goal and also her first Champions League goal in her career.

Chelsea are through to the Champions League quarter-finals with two group games to spare with an impressive 3-0 win over Celtic. It also means the Scottish side will not progress to the knockout rounds in their first Champions League season. But they can take positives from this performance, their defence in the second half has been impressive, aside from that last-minute penalty. Bronze shocked them early on and Kaptein and Perisset added more to secure the win in the first half.

90 + 2 min: Noonan, who has been a bright spark for Celtic since coming on, lays it up for McGregor whose shot is saved by Musovic.

90 min: Chelsea running down the clock here as they look to secure their spot in the quarter-finals with two games to spare.
88 min: Chelsea win a free kick and Perisset takes it. It’s dealt with well initially but Chelsea keep the move alive but Celtic push them back to Musovic.
86 min: Brown is just 17-years-old and signed her first professional deal recently. Not a bad game to enter and what a stage to do it on too.

85 min: Ramirez really is feeling comfortable who makes a storming run towards goal but Hayes does well again to block. Celtic counter with McGregor crossing it in but Musovic is there. Chelsea make two changes with Lawrence and Nusken for Brown and Bartel.
84 min: Ramirez is back on and looking comfortable which will be a relief for Chelsea fans, the club currently have four players out with ACL injuries.
83 min: It seems to be an issue with her knee and everyone will be hoping it is not the dreaded ACL. She is back to her feet and she slowly walks to the sideline. I think she is okay to continue though she hasn’t re-entered play just yet.

81 min: Ramirez stretches to try and score, the ball goes beyond the goal but she stays down. This is a worrying sign.
81 min: I don’t think they announce player of the match on the stream so I will hunt for it post-match for you. I will be surprised if it isn’t given to Bronze, she has been everywhere for Chelsea tonight.
79 min: A journalist at the game has spotted Sonia Bompastor not wearing socks in this freezing cold weather. She built differently. As is her team with Bronze peeling away into the box but Celtic do well to block her.

77 min: McGregor has a good run but Jean-Francios tracks her all the way and dispossesses her.
75 min: I’m running out of ways to describe Chelsea attack but they are on the frontfoot again. Bronze, who is having a belter of a game, crosses to find Ramirez but she fouls again so Celtic clear.
73 min: Hayes pops in a long ball with Gallacher making a run into the box but Musovic reads it well and it bounces into her hands.
71 min: Can anyone stop Chelsea this season? After performances like this one, and the one against Man City, they seem unstoppable. But come games against the likes of Bayern Munich or Barcelona and that may turn the tide. Chelsea make a change with Perisset on for Reiten and Celtic make a sub with Smith off for Noonan.

69 min: Three guesses what Chelsea have won? No, okay I’ll tell you. It’s another corner. Reiten is over the ball and sends it in and it comes to Bright but her shot is blocked. Celtic really well drilled defensively on that set piece now.
68 min: A long ball finds Ramirez. who barges into Clark in the box and is seen as a foul so Celtic kick clear.
66 min: Chelsea win a free kick now but it’s in their own half and so Bronze passes backwards as they set up their latest attack.
64 min: The set piece is taken from a great position and the delivery is a good one, Reiten gets to it first but it isn’t a clean clearance and Cuthbert needs to mop up the afters.
63 min: There may only be a few hundred travelling Celtic fans but they are really making themselves known at Stamford Bridge, building the atmosphere nicely. Celtic win a free kick through Lawton after a foul from Lawrence.
62 min: Celtic make changes with Agnew off for Cross and Cavanagh is off for S Carstens.
61 min: Chelsea take this one short and it takes a while for it to come in but Bronze crosses and Kaptein gets a head to it but Daugherty saves. Chelsea’s short corners have been the more effective tonight, they were used before both goals were scored.
60 min: Bronze takes the corner but it’s a poor delivery and it’s headed away. A few passes later though and Chelsea trudge back to the corner flag for yet another set piece. Reiten the one over this and it’s whipped in but headed clear and out for, yes you guessed it, another corner.
58 min: Chelsea win yet another corner, they have had so many this evening. Before they take it Chelsea make a change with Kaneryd off for Cuthbert.
58 min: Bronze is the taker and it’s a good delivery but Daugherty punches clear, it is then deflected out for another corner. The England international takes it again but again Celtic see it out. It’s on the other side this time so Reiten is the taker. It comes in but Celtic defend it well.
56 min: Celtic look so promising at moments in this match but a poor touch or pass are letting them down. Ashworth-Clifford put in a great cross but it can’t be controlled and Chelsea win it back. They run it through the team and Ramirez has fine work to get a shot away but what an amazing block from Hayes, who concedes a corner.
54 min: W has emailed and said:
Is not having any added time common in the women’s game? I can’t recall the last time that happened in the men’s unless everyone involved was in a hurry to get back home.
It’s not common, no. The first half was just well paced with no injuries.
Chelsea are still peppering shots at Celtic goal with Reiten and Mpome coming close but they just can’t convert right now.
52 min: A lovely Chelsea team move sees Ramirez with the ball at her feet but she is well marshalled away from goal. Chelsea come again and Kaptein has a long range shot but it’s just over the bar.
50 min: Nusken manages to keep a ball in play through a gut-busting run but then she is dispossessed. Possession exchanges hands but Chelsea end up with it and they start some patient build-up play.
48 min: Agnew wins a free kick after a challenge from Lawrence, it’s right on halfway. Clark takes it long but Barclais hits it out and the chance is gone.
47 min: Celtic must be the first to score in this half if they have a hope of getting back into this one. But it’s eerily similar to the start of the first with an early Chelsea corner. Reiten’s delivery isn’t the best and Celtic can clear.
Back underway: Chelsea 2-0 Celtic
So can Celtic stage a famous comeback? Or will Chelsea run away with it? All to come. chelsea have made a change with Macario off for Ramirez.
Bronze’s goal was her first Champions League goal for Chelsea. That means she has now scored for four different clubs in the competition.
Bronze scored just after the minute mark to give Chelsea a perfect start and Kaptein added another. If the score stays like this Chelsea will progress to the quarters with two games to spare. A lot of work for Celtic to do.

No added time and we’re at the break.
45 min: Mpome sends in a great ball but Celtic read it well to clear but blue shirt immediately descend on the ball, Celtic do not have a moment to breather right now. Wave after wave of Chelsea attack.

41 min: What a ball from Agnew which finds Ashworth-Clifford but she is suddenly surrounded by Chelsea defenders and she is muscled off of the ball.
40 min: A poor pass at the back from Chelsea sees Agnew pounce but her cross is cleared. Chelsea counter and Kaneryd makes a phenomenal run to spark the chance to life, it is cleared though to extinguish a hope of a goal for now.

38 min: Macario takes it and Mpome gets to it but Celtic swarm her to put her off and it goes over the bar.
37 min: Chelsea are getting closer to a third with it pinballing around in the box but Celtic manager to boot it clear. They come again with Lawrence sending it in but Hayes sees it out for another corner.
36 min: Nusken takes a long range effort and has space to direct it on target but it is just over the bar. That would have been a belter if it went in.
34 min: For me the difference for Celtic last week was McGregor and she has been so quiet this evening with Chelsea absolutely running riot. Celtic haven’t had a shot on target yet.
32 min: Chelsea want a third and Reiten is fed the ball but she rockets it over the bar.
30 min: Lawrence wins a corner and Macario is the taker this time. It reaches Kaptein but Celtic do enough to see it out for another corner. They take it shot but it’s cleared again.
29 min: Celtic win a free kick from inside their own half and so they will have to build from deep here. They lose out after three passes and Chelsea are on the hunt once more.
27 min: You have to say that might be lights out for Celtic’s Champions League campaign, they need to beat Chelsea tonight to keep those hopes alive but scoring three goals and stopping Chelsea from scoring anymore does not look likely.
A set piece goal once again. It’s taken short by Reiten and it comes back to her, she sends it in and Kaptein finishes off a header.

24 min: Mpome is having a great game at the back who is expertly covering the counterattack chances Celtic are creating.
22 min: Some intricate play sees Bronze cross it in but Celtic clear, it is an utter barrage from the Blues so far. Celtic have had glimpses of chances but Sonia Bompastor’s team are in full control here.
20 min: Hayes does well to shepherd out an overhit ball from Reiten for a goal kick. They then set themselves off on a good run through Agnew but she takes a long range effort which is well wide.
18 min: Chelsea move the ball right and left but they can’t find a way through the Celtic defence at the moment.
16 min: A peach of a ball sets Kaneryd off, she crosses in but Celtic manage to get their first to clear it. The Sweden international is a threat every time she is on the ball.
14 min: Celtic are building here but they just need to stop rushing their attack play when they do have some frontfoot ball. That is partly down to Chelsea’s high press but they also seem slightly panicked after conceding early. Some patience and more time on the ball and they could get themselves back into it.

12 min: Celtic with their first bit of sustained possession and Cavanagh crosses in after a strong challenge but Bronze it there to clear.
10 min: Reiten sends a great ball into the area but Kaneryd can’t get their, it is deflected out for another corner though. Celtic will need to be much tighter to their opposition this time and it is well defended. The earlier corner Bronze was able to run riot but it seems Celtic have put that right now.
8 min: This could turn into a blood bath if Celtic do not stem Chelsea’s momentum soon. The Blues are in the area again thanks to a great run from Macario, the US international takes a punt but it’s just over the bar.
6 min: Celtic have not had a whiff of the ball so far, it’s been completely dominant from Chelsea. A stark change from their game against Celtic last week where the Scottish side scored first. Kaneryd takes a long range shot but Daugherty saves.
4 min: Well this match started with a bang. An uphill battle for Celtic now who need to win at Stamford Bridge if they are to progress.
What a goal from Bronze. Reiten took the corner short but it got popped in and Bronze belted it in on her right foot. Huge.

Hello and welcome to our Women’s Champions League coverage where tonight we will be focusing on Chelsea v Celtic.
The two clubs played one another last week where the Blues came out 2-1 winners but Celtic challenged Chelsea well and they could come out on top this evening. They especially exploited Chelsea on the counter and I expect them to use the same tactic this evening.
The Blues have continued their winning streak with an impressive win over Manchester City last weekend, while Celtic narrowly lost 3-2 to rivals Rangers.
We will see what the managers have said in the build up to this one shortly but first let’s take a look at the team news.
