Chelsea transfer news: Kai Havertz Arsenal medical booked as Man United continue Mason Mount push

Here is your Chelsea transfer roundup on Friday, June 23.

Havertz medical

Kai Havertz's medical ahead of his £65million transfer from Chelsea to Arsenal will take place over this weekend, football.london understands. The Gunners have struck an agreement with the Blues over a deal that consists of £60million in guaranteed fees and £5million in add-ons.

Personal terms are also agreed upon, meaning a medical and contract signing should be all that's left before the deal is announced in the coming week.

Mount confidence

Manchester United remain confident they can agree a deal to sign Mason Mount from Chelsea this summer, reports the Guardian. The Blues have rejected the first two offers made by the Red Devils for the midfielder, who looks unlikely to stay at Stamford Bridge with just one-year remaining on his contract.

United will remain in negotiations over a deal, hopeful that £60million will be enough to secure the signature of the 24-year-old, but may back out if there is a lack of progress or they are priced out of a move.

Lukaku silence broken

Romelu Lukaku's lawyer, Sebastien Ledure, has broken silence over a potential exit from Chelsea this summer in an interview with Fabrizio Romano. “Romelu [Lukaku] wants to stay in Europe; confirmed this by not joining Saudi [Arabia] now," was said in reply to a potential move to the Saudi Pro League.

“Chelsea position: interested clubs have to present a firm offer... Inter [Milan] have the ball in their court."
