Chelsea transfer news: Josko Gvardiol makes stance clear as Jude Bellingham preference named

Your morning Chelsea transfer round-up on Friday, December 2.

Gvardiol hint

RB Leipzig star Josko Gvardiol has dropped a huge transfer hint regarding a potential move to Chelsea in the near future following another dominating display for Croatia at the World Cup.

Todd Boehly attempted to agree a deal for the 20-year-old which would see him arrive at Stamford Bridge ahead of the 2022/23 season, but the deal never materialised.

Gvardiol put in a dominating performance in Croatia's goalless draw with Belgium which included a last-ditch challenge on Chelsea loanee Romelu Lukaku with minutes to spare.

There has been plenty of speculation surrounding the future of Gvardiol and the man himself has now delivered a huge update on his future with Chelsea at the forefront of the rumours.

Bellingham Chelsea blow

Numerous top European clubs are interested in Jude Bellingham and many have likely felt they have held the advantage in the transfer race at one point.

Many Premier League stars are with Bellingham in England's World Cup camp and are perhaps using the time to convince him to join their respective clubs. Liverpool have been in the race for Bellingham for many transfer windows and following comments made by Dortmund managing director Carsten Cramer, Jurgen Klopp's have been given a huge advantage over their rivals

Cramer told Vietnam News: "We are still in a good relationship with Jurgen and many others at Liverpool, so for me, it's my preferred club in the EPL as well. But don't expect that we will make gifts to Liverpool."

Man Utd handed Pulisic transfer advantage

Arsenal and Man United declared a shock interest in wantaway Chelsea star Christian Pulisic last week after his impressive World Cup displays with the USMNT.

Pulisic has been his nations talisman in Qatar, setting up Timothy Weah for his goal against Wales before scoring the all-important goal that confirmed the USA's spot in the last-16 in the 1-0 win over Iran.

A new report from Calciomercato has shed some light on where the 24-year-old may end up with the Italian outfit, claiming that he is 'destined' for Man United in what is a significant blow to the Gunners hopes of signing Pulisic.
