Here is your Chelsea transfer roundup on Tuesday, January 17.
Declan Rice saga
Chelsea's long-term interest in West Ham midfielder Declan Rice may have taken a huge turn in the transfer window. That's because, according to the Times, rivals Arsenal are now eyeing a deal in the summer that could cost just £80million, with his contract dwindling.
The Blues could miss out on a switch as a result, with the need to reinforce their own central ranks in the coming weeks and months. Benfica's Enzo Fernandez was the subject of a potential big-money move before talks broke down, while Brighton's Moises Caicedo also continues to be linked.

The Blues look set for a mass clear-out in the near future, having already made a number of signings under their new ownership Boehly-Clearlake. football.london understands Crystal Palace and Newcastle United have both expressed an interest in signing Gallagher on loan from Chelsea this January, however, head coach Graham Potter has not been willing to let the England international depart Stamford Bridge.
Brighton duo eyed
Chelsea are monitoring the possibility of signing Brighton duo Moises Caicedo and Leandro Trossard before the end of the transfer window. That's according to the Daily Mail, which reports that both stars could end up reuniting with Graham Potter at Stamford Bridge.
