Chelsea tipped to make £50m transfer decision plan clear after past Thomas Tuchel comments

Chelsea Timo Werner Thomas Tuchel Romelu Lukaku Paul Merson

Paul Merson thinks Chelsea will sell forward Timo Werner in the summer transfer window with the German struggling for form at Stamford Bridge.

The 26-year-old signed for the Blues in the summer of 2020 for around £50million from RB Leipzig, but has failed to make the desired impact in the Premier League so far.

Werner still has over three years remaining on his Chelsea contract, but he continues to be linked with an exit at the end of the season.
