Chelsea Supporters' Trust have welcomed the Blues' new board and hope they can bring 'stability, prosperity and success' to the club as the club exits a turbulent period. Todd Boehly has become Chelsea's chairman and also taken on the role of Sporting Director, following the departure of Marina Granovskaia, which was also announced on Wednesday.
The announcement of the former Blues director's exit follows that of Bruce Buck, who will leave his position as chairman at the end of the month after taking the position in 2003. Buck will remain as a senior advisor for the Blues, while Granovskaia will be available to be consulted during the current transfer window to aid the transition.
Boehly is joined on the board by fellow co-owners Behdad Eghbali and Jose E Feliciano of Clearlake Capital, Mark Walter, who co-founded Guggenheim Partners and is another owner of the LA Dodgers, Hansjorg Wyss and Jonathan Goldstein. They will further be joined by Barbara Charone, Lord Daniel Finkelstein OBE and James Pade, who is a partner and managing director of Clearlake Capital.

Charone and Finkelstein are both Chelsea supporters who have had season tickets at Stamford Bridge. The Supporters' Trust, in particular, made a note of their appointments.
The Trust's statement said: "It is with sincere pleasure that the Chelsea Supporters' Trust (CST) welcomes the new board of Chelsea FC. After a turbulent few months, we are hopeful that the new board can bring stability, prosperity and success to our incredible football club and its loyal supporters.
"The CST notes that life-long Chelsea supporters Lord Finkelstein and Barbara Charone have been named on the board. We welcome them both and look forward to continuing and building on the positive discussions already held with them and the rest of the board."
Boehly earlier outlined that this moment signals a position in which
"As custodians of Chelsea FC, we now begin executing our long-term vision and plan for the Club, creating an outstanding experience for its passionate, loyal fans, and continuing to challenge for top honours in line with Chelsea FC's decorated history. Working together, side-by-side, we are firmly committed to winning, both on and off the pitch. For us, that effort has begun."
