Omari Hutchinson's proposed loan move to West Bromwich Albion has fallen through at the final stage of the January transfer window, football.london understands.
The 19-year-old, as football.london reported earlier in the day, was close to joining the Baggies on loan until the end of the season. However, West Brom have now decided to sign Marc Albrighton on loan from Leicester City, leaving Hutchinson at Chelsea.
Hutchinson has played in a couple of senior games since Chelsea returned to action after the FIFA World Cup. His pathway into the first-team is more difficult now, though, after the signings of Noni Madueke and Mykhailo Mudryk.

The teenager, who joined from Arsenal last summer, recently revealed how much he enjoyed breaking into the Chelsea first-team. He also spoke about how Graham Potter allows him to be a free spirit on the pitch.
He said to the club's official website: "It's been a great experience. It's about getting used to the boys, getting used to their culture and how they are in the building. It's good for me and it will be good for me in the long run.
"[The Chelsea staff are] the best, really. They have given me that freedom on the pitch and have told me to express myself. That's all I can ask for."
