Chelsea midfielder N'Golo Kante has been linked with a surprise move to Cristiano Ronaldo's new side AL-Nassr amid uncertainty over his future at Stamford Bridge.
Kante, 31, hasn't featured for Graham Potter’s men since August's 2-2 draw with Tottenham Hotspur after sustaining a hamstring injury. The France international did return to training before being ruled out for a further four months due to requiring surgery on the area.
The midfielder has now entered the final six months of his contract and can begin pre-contract talks with overseas clubs for a move after June. Barcelona and Paris Saint-Germain have both been credited with interest in the France international but the Saudi Arabian side have now emerged as a possible location for Kante.

According to Sport (via Sport Witness), Al-Nassr are eyeing Kante as their next big coup, days after signing Cristiano Ronaldo. The former Manchester United player confirmed his move to Asia on the final day of 2022 following his World Cup heartbreak with Portugal.
The report claims that Al-Nassr are considering offering the midfielder, who is said to be 'thinking about' the move, 'an astronomical contract'. Barcelona, who have been monitoring the former Leicester City man for some time, are claimed to be 'somewhat calm' due to Kante's preference of competing at the highest level.
Previously, it was said that Chelsea had made 'positive progress' in tying Kante down to a further deal in London following positive discussions. However, the length of the fresh terms are yet to be ironed out and leaves the door open for an exit.
