Armando Broja appears to have sustained a damaging injury after being substituted off against Aston Villa in a mid-season friendly.
Chelsea are currently playing against Premier League opposition in Abu Dhabi and Broja started the game in attack alongside Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang but remained on the ground after a collision with Ezri Konsa and screamed in pain.
The Blues were 1-0 down when Broja contested a ball in the Villa area but immediately fell to the ground and remained down for several minutes before being stretchered off.
Chelsea have already got a back log of injuries with N'Golo Kante, Reece James, Wesley Fofana and Ben Chilwell all unavailable for Graham Potter currently, whilst Trevoh Chalobah was replaced having initially been listed in the starting XI.

Broja has no history with knee injuries but looked to be in extreme pain whilst holding his leg and the incident now poses a major question for the Blues heading into the January transfer window.
The Albanian striker is third choice at Stamford Bridge with Kai Havertz also ahead of him, but has been a common impact sub throughout the season and started the final two games before the break. Broja also suffered an injury just days after Chelsea played against Newcastle in their last league game, hobbling off whilst on international duty.
