Chelsea's January is expected to be busy with plenty of incomings through the door but there are set to be a number of outgoings, too. Having continued an aggressive drive to recruit young players there is a chance now to reconsider the short-term futures of players.
It is understood that Cesare Casadei, who signed for £20million over the summer, is one player that could leave until the end of the season in search for senior football. The Italian joined as one of the most admired young midfielders in Europe but hasn't made a first team breakthrough yet.
His impressive output for the Under-21 side against EFL sides has demonstrated his physical readiness though and he could be on the move again in a bid to prove his worth to Graham Potter next season.
