Chelsea have handed shirt numbers to three new players after new duo Benoit Badiashile and David Datro Fofana were both confirmed as having joined.
Fofana comes in from Norwegian outfit Molde on a six and half year deal with an option for an extra year whilst Badiashile moved from Monaco on a higher profile £35m deal on an even longer seven-and-a-half-year deal.
Summer signing Gabriel Slonina has also been given a squad number after joining up with his teammates following a loan spell at Chicago Fire. He was signed for £12m in 2022 but was sent back to the MLS to finish the season there before coming to England.

All three players have already been in training at Cobham and are available for selection ahead of Chelsea's FA Cup third-round tie against Manchester City on Sunday at the Etihad Stadium.
Such is Graham Potter's injury crisis there is a chance of them all being handed debuts. To go with that, Fofana has taken the No27 shirt previously worn by Tino Anjorin, though he is away on loan at Huddersfield.
Slonina will take the No 36 shirt as a backup goalkeeper. That jersey was previously worn by Ruben Loftus-Cheek during his time as a youngster.
Badiashile takes on a more senior number, taking over from Andreas Christensen with the No 4 shirt. Cesc Fabregas, David Luiz and Claude Makelele have previously worn that shirt.
