Chelsea's next five fixtures compared to Man Utd, Arsenal, Liverpool, Tottenham and Man City

Kai Havertz provided the cutting edge as Chelsea waltzed away 1-0 victors against Crystal Palace at Stamford Bridge. The 23-year-old nodded the Blues ahead in the second half after a delicately lofted Hakim Ziyech cross found him at he near post.

Graham Potter's side launched out of the blocks and looked keen to impress new signing Mykhaylo Mudryk, though it wasn't until 20 minutes into second-half when Havertz found the lead. Chelsea struggled to add to their advantage but the class of Thiago Silva and Benoit Badiashile guided the club to victory.

The Blues remain some way off the top four, sitting in ninth with 28 points - ten points from Manchester United. But, Chelsea are slowly but surely showing signs of great promise under Potter so the return of Joao Felix and the introduction of Mudryk will come as huge boosts.

So, with that being said, football.london has taken a look at how Chelsea's next five fixtures compare to Arsenal, Liverpool, Manchester United, Tottenham and Man City.

Liverpool (A), January 21 - Premier League, 12:30pm

Like Chelsea, Liverpool have been a shadow of themselves this season and are struggling lower down the table, finding themselves seven points adrift of a top-four spot. Jurgen Klopp's side are facing a number of injury problems and are shipping goals at the back, giving Chelsea a good chance of causing an upset at Anfield.

Fulham (H), February 3 - Premier League, 20:00

The second meeting of the season between these two sides comes just three weeks after the Blues travel to Craven Cottage. Chelsea will hope they can get their own back on their west London rivals and leapfrog Marco Silva's side in the table to start February.

West Ham (A), February 11 - Premier League, 12:30

The third London derby in Chelsea's next four games. The clash with the Hammers is set to be a feisty affair with both clubs in desperate need of three points amid poor runs of form.

Borussia Dortmund (A), February 15 - Champions League, 20:00

The Blues have been knocked out of every domestic cup competition this season, leaving only the Champions League - and, of course, the Premier League - to play for. Though it must be said that Chelsea won the tournament with Thomas Tuchel after a disastrous start to the campaign under Frank Lampard.

Southampton (H), February 18 - Premier League, 15:00

The west Londoners will be looking to exact their revenge over the Saints after losing 2-1 last time out in August. Ironically, Romeo Lavia, who Chelsea tried to sign late into the summer transfer window, netted the opener before Raheem Sterling equalised just moments later.

Then, Adam Armstrong provided the winning touch late into the first half. With the Blues somewhat a transformed side - albeit due to injuries and new signings - Potter will be hoping that he can win three points here
