Chelsea are expecting a busy end to the transfer window with at least one incoming planned on Deadline Day.
The Blues are on the verge of signing Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang from Barcelona, football.london understands. Chelsea have been locked in talks with the Catalan club for weeks now, and a breakthrough finally looks to have happened.
Chelsea are set to pay around £6.5million for Aubameyang, with left-back Marcos Alonso going in the opposite direction. It's a deal that works well for all parties. Barca have been interested in Alonso for months now, with the Spaniard desperate to return to his homeland.

As far as outgoings are concerned, Hakim Ziyech could also still leave the club. The Moroccan wants to move away from Stamford Bridge, and Tottenham are the latest club to show an interest in his services. His former club Ajax are also understood to be monitoring his situation.
Whilst Aubameyang is likely to be the only arrival at Stamford Bridge, reports have emerged that Chelsea could look to sign Memphis Depay, Aubameyang’s teammate at the Camp Nou. According to journalist Gerrard Romero, the Dutch international informed Barcelona’s hierarchy about his desire to leave the club on Wednesday.
The two clubs have been discussing potential terms, although a move at this stage of the window does seem unlikely.
Reports have also suggested that Chelsea have been monitoring Rafael Leao once more. The Blues have been watching him for some time now, but AC Milan would demand a fee north of £100million. A deal of that complication is never going to happen with just a matter of hours left in the window.
