Frank Lampard has given Chelsea supporters fresh hope for the remainder of the season with a 3-1 win over Bournemouth. The Blues have finally breached the 40-point benchmark in the Premier League, meaning that the club are now safe from relegation.
While it's unlikely that they'll clinch a European qualification place, the west Londoners will be desperate to end the miserable campaign on a high and creep into the top-half. The lowest Chelsea have ever finished in the Premier League is 14th on 51 points after 42 games in 1993/94, though the Blues finished 10th on just 50 points in 2015/16.
The Blues are currently on 42 points with four fixtures left in the calendar. So, to ensure that Lampard doesn't register the club's lowest ever finish – positionally and points wise – he'll need to find ten points from a possible 12 against some difficult opposition...

With that being said, football.london has taken a look at Chelsea's remaining fixtures of the Premier League season.
Nottingham Forest (H) - Premier League - May 13
This could be the final game of the Premier League season which Chelsea can be confident of winning – and even then it could still be a steep ask. After welcoming Forest to west London, the Blues must still face Manchester City and Manchester United – a pair of very difficult fixtures.
Manchester City (A) - Premier League - May 21
As City beeline towards the Premier League title, it could be about damage limitation for Chelsea. While Leeds United put up a good fight under Sam Allardyce, Pep Guardiola's side still managed to grab a 2-1 win, courtesy of a double from Ilkay Gundogan.
However, the reigning champions could have won by far more had Erling Haaland had his shooting boots on! After Arsenal struggled to breakdown City last month then you can only imagine the mountainous task Chelsea have on their plate.
Manchester United (A) - Premier League - May 25
Another tough, tough fixture in May for Chelsea – and it won't get any easier with Newcastle to follow the pair of Manchester giants. The Red Devils will be desperate to hold onto a top-four place so Erik Ten Hag will have his side fired up to lock horns with the Blues.
Newcastle United (H) - Premier League - May 28
With Liverpool are breathing down the necks of Newcastle and United, a place in the top-four could rest on snatching three points from Chelsea. While the Blues' season is largely redundant, the Magpies still have everything to play for so it's shaping up to be a tough afternoon at Stamford Bridge.
Liverpool's final fixtures:
Leicester City (A) - May 15
Aston Villa (H) - May 20
Southampton (A) - May 28
Manchester United's final fixtures:
West Ham (A) - May 7
Wolves (H) - May 13
Bournemouth (A) - May 20
Chelsea (H) - May 25
Fulham (H) - May 28
Tottenham's next five fixtures:
Aston Villa (A) - May 13
Brentford (H) - May 20
Leeds United (A) - May 28
