Some Nottingham Forest fans have pleaded with Chelsea to stick with Frank Lampard until the end of the season, after the club lost their sixth consecutive game under the interim boss.
The former midfielder took charge of the Blues until the end of the season following the sacking of Graham Potter at the start of last month. But in his six matches in charge in all competitions, Chelsea have fallen to defeat in every one.
The latest defeat came on Tuesday night as they made the journey across London to take on title-chasing Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium. Chelsea quickly found themselves 3-0 down at half-time thanks to a brace from Martin Odegaard and a goal from Gabriel Jesus.

Noni Madueke did get a goal back for Chelsea in the second half, but it was too little too late for Lampard’s side with the score ending 3-1. The result leaves Chelsea on 39 points and still mathematically able to go down at the end of the season, although that would mean both Forest and their relegation rivals picking up the majority of points on offer.
Forest have four games remaining of the season and are currently in the bottom three on goal difference. One of those games sees them travel to Stamford Bridge to take on Chelsea.
Ahead of that clash Forest fans are hoping that Blues owner Todd Boehly doesn’t take drastic action to try to turn around the club’s form. Here’s what some said both during and after the clash vs Arsenal.
