After initially agreeing a fee with Leeds United for Raphinha, Chelsea now suddenly appear behind Barcelona in the tense transfer battle to secure the 25-year-old Brazilian.
There were several reports coming out of Spain on Friday night that suggested Barcelona had matched Chelsea's £60m fee and it was only a matter of time before the winger signed for the Spanish giants.
However, a new update from Ben Jacobs of CBS Sports suggests this is not the case and the Blues are very much still in the race. Tweeting on Saturday morning, Jacobs stated that Leeds have still not accepted any offer from Barca but advanced talks have continued.

The La Liga club want to pay any in instalment however, Leeds want a higher guaranteed fee because of this. Barca's offer is still currently below Chelsea's £60m fee.
On the Chelsea side with Todd Boehly in negotiations, Jacobs reports that the Blues are not prepared to wait around as Leeds want a sale resolved fast. Jacobs rubbished some reports that have also come out of Spain suggesting that the winger told his agent Deco to 'stop' negotiating with Chelsea.
Raphinha agreed personal terms with Barcelona several months ago and it appears clear his preference would be with the Catalan club, however as of this point, Chelsea remains in the race.
