Chelsea ready to subsidise Romelu Lukaku wages to push through summer exit as new striker targeted

Chelsea are willing to subsidise Romelu Lukaku’s wages in order to allow the striker to leave the club on loan, but would still demand that last summer’s marquee signing take a significant pay cut.

Lukaku is hopeful of securing a return to Inter Milan just 12 months after his £97.5million switch to Stamford Bridge following a miserable campaign.
