Chelsea are 'ready to increase their offer' to sign Everton star Anthony Gordon, according to recent reports.
The 21-year-old has been linked with a move away from Goodison Park this summer with Tottenham and Newcastle among the clubs linked. Everton 's stance all summer has remained that Gordon is not for sale, although recent reports suggest Chelsea are ready to test the Blues' resolve.
The Daily Mail claims the London club have already seen a bid worth £40m rejected by Everton, but they're now ready to up that to £45m. However, the report adds Everton value Gordon at a minimum of £50m.

Frank Lampard wants to keep hold of the starlet - however another report from the Mirror on Monday claims the player has indicated to the manager he is 'keen' on the move to Chelsea and has urged the club to consider the offer.
Gordon is under contract until 2025 and the club reportedly offered him a contract a matter of weeks ago, but there are suggestions it hasn't been signed. A move to Stamford Bridge would offer Champions League football for the England youth international.
Speaking to evertontv earlier in the summer, Lampard highlighted the club's stance on Gordon and insisted he is not for sale. “He’s going nowhere," the boss said. "He’s our player and that was a hugely-important thing to me, he’s the sort of player we want to build to go forward with. I’m delighted that he’s got his number 10 but now I want him to continue to earn it.”
