Kepa Arrizabalaga – He wasn't tested in the first-half, but looked comfortable when called upon. 6.
Trevoh Chalobah – Got skinned by Rafael Leao at one point, but recovered well to tackle the winger. Overall, a composed display from the defender. A great ball to release Gallagher at the start of the second-half. Kept looking to attack at every opportunity. 7.
Thiago Silva – Calm in defence as ever. Set the tone for the rest of the back-line. 6.
Kalidou Koulibaly – Looked a bit sloppy in the opening minutes, but he was just taking time to settle in on his return to Italy. 6.
Reece James – Fantastic as ever on the right-hand side. Running out of superlatives for James now. 7.
Jorginho – Confident as ever from the penalty spot, sends the 'keeper the wrong way. His passing was superb all evening-long. 8.
Mateo Kovacic – Sloppy start to the game but kept growing in confidence. Some neat dribbles in midfield allowed Chelsea to get out under some pressure. 6.
Ben Chilwell – Looked confident on the left-hand side. Didn't offer too much going forward, but the majority of the attacking play seemed to go down the opposite channel. Ran around a lot. 5.
Mason Mount – A great run to win a penalty in the first-half, something that massively changed the game. A fantastic, quick-thinking assist to Aubameyang for the second goal of the game. 8.
Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang – Took his goal brilliantly. He's now looking like the player all Chelsea fans were hoping for. A proper number nine. 7.
Raheem Sterling – Some great link-up play with Mount and Aubameyang at times. He'll be disappointed not to get a goal at the San Siro, but a good performance nonetheless. 6.
Substitutes:
Conor Gallagher – Came on at half-time for Mount. Almost made an immediate impact after a fine ball from Chalobah, where Gallagher should score. 6.
Ruben Loftus-Cheek – Some brilliant work in his second-half cameo. Particularly the ball to set Aubameyang up, who was denied inside the box. 6.
Cesar Azpilicueta – Looked solid. Didn't have to do much, and that was to do with Chelsea's dominance in Milan. 6.
Kai Havertz – N/A.
Marc Cucurella – N/A.
