Inter Milan alter Romelu Lukaku stance
Romelu Lukaku's return to Chelsea has not been the huge success many onlookers expected it to be, with the £97.5 million club-record signing not starting a game since February. Since the 28-year-old's ill-judged December interview with Sky Italia, a return to Inter Milan has been mentioned frequently.
But Inter have always insisted that they would not be returning for their former star, until now. As reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport, via Football Italia, directors at the Nerazzuri are no longer ruling out a move for Lukaku in the summer.
There remains a need at the San Siro for the books to be balanced, with a number of stars potentially leaving in the summer. Despite that, however, a move for Lukaku could well be back on the cards.
Real Madrid lead race for Aurelien Tchouameni
Chelsea remain eager to strengthen their midfield in the summer transfer window and Monaco's talented 22-year-old Aurelien Tchouameni is reportedly right at the top of Thomas Tuchel's wishlist.
Both N'Golo Kante and Jorginho will have just one year left on their contract in the summer and the Blues have been linked with a number of moves, with Declan Rice and Jude Bellingham also mooted as targets. Conor Gallagher will also return in the summer from a highly-successful loan spell at Crystal Palace and is expected to be given a shot in the first-team next season.
The Telegraph have now reported that both Chelsea and Manchester City are trailing Real Madrid in the race for Tchouameni. A move for one of those alternatives may well be necessary.
Why Thomas Tuchel raged at Reece James
Real Madrid came away from Stamford Bridge as 3-1 winners with Karim Benzema's hat-trick giving the Blues a lot of work to do going into the second leg of the Champions League quarter-finals. Thomas Tuchel's men were uncharacteristically poor at the back and struggled to match up with the La Liga side.
The mood was summed up when Reece James headed the ball straight out for a corner. The Blues boss was very much unimpressed and made sure those around him knew it as he raged.
