Fans criticised
Dominic Raab has criticised Chelsea fans who chanted the name of Russian owner Roman Abramovich during a minutes' applause for victims of the war in Ukraine.
The applause was held ahead of all Premier League games this weekend but a minority of Chelsea fans undermined the gesture ahead of the side's encounter against Burnley at Turf Moor on Saturday.
The chants were swiftly condemned by coach Thomas Tuchel following the game, and Chelsea fan Raab has also criticised the fans who decided to take part in them as well.
Abramovich slammed
Simon Jordan has slammed Roman Abramovich for his impact on the Premier League as he named the Chelsea owner as "one of the worst things to happen to English football".
Abramovich arrived at Stamford Bridge in 2003 when he purchased the club for just £140million and has bankrolled the most successful spell in the club's history.
But Jordan, who was chairman of Palace between 2000 and 2010, has shown he is not a fan of the wider impact Abramovich's ownership has had on the English game as he slammed the Blues owner for "creating hyperinflation".
Sale demands revealed
Roman Abramovich has made two demands of any potential Chelsea owners as he prepares for the club's sale.
Around 10 parties are said to be interested in making a bid for the club following Abramovich's decision to sell up.
While the Russian is asking for around £3billion from anyone wanting to purchase the Stamford Bridge outfit, he also wants the new owners to make two commitments to the club in order to persuade him to sell to them.
And Chelsea fans will be hoping the club's new owners follow through on those commitments as well.
