Here is your morning Chelsea digest on Sunday, January 22 after the Blues played out a goalless draw with Liverpool in the Premier League on Saturday.
Successive clean sheets
Chelsea were held to a 0-0 draw at Liverpool yesterday afternoon in a contest that Graham Potter's side had most of the better opportunities. Kai Havertz's early goal was ruled out for offside before Mykhailo Mudryk smashed his attempt into the side-netting.
The stalemate means the Blues have secured back-to-back clean sheets for the first time since October, owing plenty of plaudits to new recruit Benoit Badiashile - who has impressed in his first two appearances.
Mudryk, who made his debut in Merseyside, impressed in his first outing in blue, demonstrating early signs as to why Chelsea paid £88million for his services last weekend.

Liverpool impact Mount decision
Liverpool remain interested in Chelsea star Mason Mount after contract extension talks were halted with the Blues due to wage demands.
The England international sees his current deal expire in 2024 and talks regarding fresh terms were discussed before the World Cup began in November but no significant progress was made.
Extension talks stalling alerted Liverpool at the time and nearly three months on, despite a slight drop off in his performances, the Reds' interest remains, but now Chelsea have made a significant decision regarding a new deal for the 24-year-old.

Pedro Porro transfer message
Sporting CP star Pedro Porro has remained coy on his immediate future with January interest from Chelsea, but particularly Tottenham, prominent.
On Friday evening the Portuguese outfit beat Vizela with a stoppage time penalty which was scored by the wing-back.
After the game, Porro gave an update on his future offering the expected response when asked about a transfer away from his current club
