Here is your Chelsea morning digest on Monday, April 3.
Graham Potter sacked
Graham Potter has been sacked as Chelsea head coach following a largely unimpressive reign. The decision comes after the Blues were beaten 2-0 by Aston Villa in the Premier League on Saturday, April 1
The 47-year-old swapped the Amex Stadium for Stamford Bridge in September to replace Thomas Tuchel, with five of his Brighton and Hove Albion colleagues going on to join him at the Cobham training ground.

Julian Nagelsmann favourite
Chelsea's primary replacement for Graham Potter's is Julian Nagelsmann, football.london understands. The Blues confirmed the departure of Potter on Sunday evening following the previous days defeat to Aston Villa.
Nagelsmann was sacked by Bayern Munich towards the end of March and replaced by former Blues boss Thomas Tuchel. The former RB Leipzig coach is now the top target for the west Londoners to replace Potter at Stamford Bridge.
Todd Boehly and Behdad Eghbali will likely want an immediate replacement with a huge clash against Liverpool on Tuesday and a Champions League quarter-final against Real Madrid.
Liverpool swoop
Liverpool look set to pile on the misery as Jurgen Klopp reportedly eyes an ambitious raid of Chelsea in the summer. Mason Mount, who sees his contract in west London expire at the end of next season, has been subject to serious interest from the Reds, football.london understands.
And now, they look set to go for another Blues star. According to The Independant, Liverpool have identified Conor Gallagher as somebody who could bolster their midfield options.
The report states that the 23-year-old is highly-rated at Anfield having displayed the 'kind of energy and attributes' which complement Liverpool's tactics.
