Saturday was an afternoon to forget for Graham Potter, as Chelsea were hammered 4-1 by his ex-club Brighton at the Amex.
Strikes from Leandro Trossard and Pascal Gross - as well as own goals from Ruben Loftus-Cheek and Trevoh Chalobah - secured the points for the Seagulls. Kai Havertz did score a consolation for the Blues, who have slipped to fifth in the Premier League table.
It was a tough defeat for Potter to take. Saturday was his first return to Brighton since accepting the Chelsea job at the beginning of September. It also ended his eight-game unbeaten start as Blues boss. Here are the rest of the headlines from Stamford Bridge.
Potter hits back at boo boys
Sadly for Potter, he didn't get a great reception from the home fans on Saturday. The Englishman did a stellar job at the Amex helm, guiding Brighton to their highest Premier League finish last season and helping them make a good start to this campaign before leaving.
"I have nothing to apologise or say sorry for," said Potter at full-time. "I think I did a good job at the club and left it in a good place but people are entitled to their opinions.
"It's part of the process. You have to suffer and feel pain in order to grow and get better. Nobody said we were the finished article. We have to take the pain today and learn from it."

On the 4-1 loss, Potter added: "Yes of course the score line and the defeat is a painful one. We didn't really recover. Once the crowd were so engaged it was a difficult one for us. The score line was painful. Brighton played a good game, especially in the first half.
"You can always look at goals and think you can do better. We have to take responsibility a bit in the first half. We have had a lot of football but that's no excuse. We couldn't quite get to that level. We didn't take our opportunities in attack and they did."

Tuchel taking a break
Potter's predecessor at Stamford Bridge Thomas Tuchel has confirmed he's taking a break from management following his dismissal by Chelsea. The German remains a popular figure in West London after winning three trophies - including the Champions League.
"I haven’t made a decision yet," Tuchel explained to Sport Star when asked about his next club. "It is now time for me to take a break. Some clubs have been calling my manager, but we agreed that he would not call me here for these past 18 days."

Sterling's World Cup spot in doubt
Chelsea legend Pat Nevin believes Raheem Sterling could be dropped by England manager Gareth Southgate ahead of the World Cup amid his goal drought. Sterling hasn't scored in the Premier League since the 2-1 defeat to Southampton in August.
"I'm watching Raheem Sterling right now and I've said that Graham Potter has got the best from every player since he has been there, with one exception - Raheem Sterling," Nevin told BBC Radio 5 Live while commentating on Saturday's game.
"If he keeps playing the way he is right now, he's not even a consideration for the World Cup. He is having a really really bad time and today he is having an absolutely terrible game."
