According to the report, Chelsea are set to beat Liverpool to the signing of De Ligt this summer.
Recent reports have linked the Reds with a move for the Juventus centre-back as part of a double £102m move that also includes midfielder Adrien Rabiot.
Now, Corriere dello Sport claim Chelsea have made a £67.5m offer plus bonuses for Virgil van Dijk's Holland international team-mate, while Bayern Munich are also said to be in the mix and preparing to make an offer worth up to £63.5m.

According to the report, AC Milan are closing in on a deal to sign the midfielder formerly linked with Liverpool.
