Chelsea would consider sending Carney Chukwuemeka out on loan next season ahead of a summer clear-out at Stamford Bridge, a source has told football.london.
The 19-year-old completed a £20million move from Aston Villa to Chelsea in August of last year, signing a six-year deal at Stamford Bridge. Thomas Tuchel was the man in charge of the Blues back then and it's understood the German coach told Chukwuemeka he would be given first-team opportunities this season.
He has been given chances, but not as many as he would have envisaged when signing the long-term deal last summer. Chukwuemeka has started just one match in the Premier League this season, while making 10 of his 11 league appearances from the substitutes bench.
