Chelsea legend Frank Leboeuf has given one reason as to why Arsenal will not win the Premier League title. Mikel Arteta's side were tipped to be contenders for the competition by Thomas Frank following the the Gunners' 3-0 win over Brentford.
The north Londoners retained top spot heading into the international break after picking up three points against the Bees. Arsenal have enjoyed a great vein of form this term; they're a point ahead of both Manchester City and Tottenham Hotspur, five points ahead of fourth-placed Brighton and six ahead of fifth-placed Manchester United.
Speaking to football.london following the Gunners' clash with the Bees, Frank insisted that Arsenal are the second-best team in the league behind only Pep Guardiola's side. The Dane said: "We are playing against a very good side.

"It was one thing to beat them a year ago. For me, now, after Manchester City, they are the best performing side in the Premier League.
"I said to the players today that we will need to be able to suffer and defend very well. If we do that then I’m convinced we will have our opportunities throughout the game. No doubt this will be our biggest challenge so far."
And, Leboeuf agrees with the Brentford boss claiming that only City stand in Arsenal's way of lifting the prestigious competition. The former Blues defender ESPN FC: "Arsenal are great and I want to give them all the credit they deserve. They can try to follow Manchester City, but I don’t think they can win the title because City are superior."
City, who are currently unbeaten this term, have been very dominant in recent times, winning the Premier League four out of five previous years. The reigning champions are still some way off matching the Gunners' total titles won though, at this rate, Guardiola will soon do so.
What is fitting is that Arteta previously worked very closely with the City boss during their time together at the Etihad Stadium. Whether it be passing the torch or not, Arsenal lifting the Premier League under the Spaniard's stewardship would make for an interesting narrative.
