After a hard-fought win in which Pafos made Chelsea wait 78 minutes to break the deadlock in front of an increasingly restless crowd at Stamford Bridge, Liam Rosenior reflected on a testing night and said: “You have to keep banging on the door”.
Moises Caicedo certainly did that. Pafos have been something of a surprise package in this season’s Champions League and once their well-organised defence started to frustrate Chelsea, Caicedo took it upon himself to unleash a couple of pop-shots from distance to try to force the issue.
