Chelsea have already shown they have the edge over Premier League rivals Liverpool when it comes to signing Bundesliga talents.
The Blues are set to battle the Reds, Manchester City, Manchester United, Real Madrid and Bayern Munich for the signing of Borussia Dortmund star Jude Bellingham. Chelsea have pipped Liverpool to the signings of Timo Werner and Christian Pulisic in the past despite Jurgen Klopp openly admitting he wanted both players at Anfield.
Whilst Werner and Pulisic may have struggled during their spells at Stamford Bridge, it bodes well for Todd Boehly and the Blues that they have a good track record when it comes to signing Bundesliga talents ahead of their rivals. Bellingham will be in high demand next summer with Dortmund having previously slapped a price tag of £120million on the England international, which would see him become the most expensive British transfer in history should a club wish to match that fee.
