Chelsea manager Graham Potter has been dealt a double boost ahead of their clash with Liverpool on Saturday as new signing Mykhailo Mudryk trained for the first time and Reece James returned.
The Ukrainian was unveiled at half-time during their win over Crystal Palace at the weekend after the Londoners gazumped their rivals Arsenal to the signing.
He arrives from Shakhtar Donetsk with a promising reputation after scoring nine goals in 19 league starts plus three in the Champions League.

JURGEN KLOPP: Liverpool boss gives Darwin Nunez injury update amid selection hint for Chelsea
His introduction to Premier League football could be on Saturday when Chelsea travel to Anfield looking to make it two wins in two. For Jurgen Klopp's side, they picked up their first win of the calendar year in their 1-0 win over Wolves in the FA Cup but have yet to taste success in the league.
The £88.5m attacker trained with his teammates on Wednesday which also saw James return to the fold. His comeback from injury, which saw him miss the World Cup, was cut short as he was forced off against Bournemouth.
But for the former Brighton boss, he receives a timely boost although the trip to Merseyside could come too soon. However, there will be no return to his former club for Raheem Sterling as he continues his recovery from a muscle injury that forced him off against Manchester City.
Joao Felix is also missing as he serves the second of his three-match ban following his debut red card in the defeat at Fulham.
Liverpool await an update from summer-signing Darwin Nunez after he missed the win at Molineux on Tuesday, as well as the defeat to Brighton at the weekend.
