Chelsea have so far acted quickly and efficiently in the transfer market this month. Deals have been wrapped up smoothly, often coming out of nowhere to be completed within a matter of days.
David Datro Fofana was confirmed before the window had opened, Andrey Santos wasn't far behind him and Benoit Badiashile was announced with little commotion. Even Joao Felix was secured before Manchester United and Arsenal had really set their stall or made a decision.
Noni Madueke signed soon after a bid was made with his injury record the only real worry to deal with and Malo Gusto - despite what senior figures at Lyon said publicly - was a simple deal to pull off. For a club that spent the summer splashing around in the deep end at this time this is a remarkable turn of events.

Chelsea's spending has understandably gained plenty of attention and their position in the league mixed with over £450m of new players reads badly on the outside though the reality is very different. That being said, the talk of Todd Boehly's reckless deals have gone away.
Mykhailo Mudryk is a different case, he was opportunistically signed and may prove to be the best of the lot. Chelsea weren't left pondering a move but instead acted quickly when they felt something was possible. Within the space of 12 hours, he went from being nailed on to hold up an Arsenal shirt to having photos taken of him in Surrey.
Such was the active nature of Todd Boehly, Behdad Eghbali and the members of their new-look recruitment team - namely Christopher Vivell and Paul Winstanley - Chelsea flew Mudryk back to London in their own plane. Now, with less than 48 hours until the deadline for the window, they may have to act similarly.
Enzo Fernandez has been a name on the backburner since talks broke down earlier this month but Chelsea are back in full force to push this over the line however they can. Sensing a chance to get a Premier League record deal done the Blues have once more sent a team out to Portugal to further the negotiations.
With Mudryk this was a key step to securing the move. With Benfica in action on Tuesday, January 31 complicating the deadline day timeframe it may well once more be vital to have face-to-face meetings and progress talks.
