Chelsea fans noticed Hakim Ziyech and Romelu Lukaku exchanging some frustrated words during Tuesday's Premier League clash against Brighton.
The Blues broke the deadlock in the 28th minute at the Amex Stadium through Ziyech, who fired a powerful low strike past Robert Sanchez.
However, the Moroccan playmaker refused to celebrate, casually walking away after he had seen the ball go into the back of the net.
And club-record signing Lukaku was then seen visibly frustrated when the former Ajax star was unable to play a pass behind the Brighton defence, playing it to the Belgian's feet instead, later in the half.
Their conversation didn't end there either as the two forwards continued to talk when the half-time whistle blew, with Lukaku appearing to explain where he wanted his teammate to play the ball as they headed down the tunnel.
A number of Chelsea fans noticed the exchange and a fair few took to social media to point out that their conversation didn't seem to be a particularly friendly one. Here is what a select few on Twitter said.
@EiFSoccer : "Safe to say Ziyech and Lukaku aren’t the best of friends."
@HowlersPodcast : "Disagreement happens when players are trying to achieve a high standard of play, and it helps motivates. A sign that there is a standard, but interesting when paired with Ziyech’s lack of celebration."
@sammyboy2491 : "They've both been awful. Ziyech goal aside."
@Sunny63838681 : "Get out Lukaku."
@odangaJ : "Lukaku was given a direct pass by Ziyech and he complains."
@cfcjames102 : "How do you blame lukaku he's getting barely nothing from CHO and Ziyech."
@libbie_allison : "Lukaku moaning to Ziyech about playing a ball in behind to chase, rather than playing it to feet… as if his first touch wouldn’t send it to row Z anyway."
