Chelsea are ramping up their interest in Manchester City forward Raheem Sterling, according to reports. The England international has only one-year remaining on his contract at the Etihad, leaving uncertainty surrounding his future.
The interest from the Blues comes ahead of a huge summer for Thomas Tuchel and his squad. The German coach is set to receive £200million from new owner Todd Boehly which would allow him to perform a full overhaul heading into next season.
Discussing the challenges ahead of him, Tuchel said: “We are rebuilding, not improving the squad. We are rebuilding. This is always challenging but we are up for the challenge.”
